Lovely colours cinders and you've cheered me right up because I thought it was only my heucheras that were flat and a bit soggy looking! :)) Isn't it amazing how some just keep going strong and others just collapse and give up :)

Yes Karen, my heuchera are not looking at all well at the moment, what with the vine weavil in the pots as well, but hope they will soon pick up. I'm sure they will.

I am a member of the 'flattened Heuchera' club too! ... Some look as though Megan has squashed them ... but she never goes near them ... just hoping they perk up soon ... fingers crossed .. :o)

Hi Shirley, strange isnt it.

The soil is very dry in that raised bed, Cinders ... but there's no way I'm watering plants yet! ........

I agree, they will be fine. Still far too early, we could still get snow and frost yet.

I've been watering mine occasionally all winter as they are in pots, and yesterday I found that a few of them were bone dry again. Hopefully they will start growing soon :)

Just wants a bit of warmth Karen and I think they will get going.

You're so right Cinders. We've had an amazing day today and I went out to find that a few of my little ones are starting to grow again! :)))))

A nice little bed and !`m sure the Heucheras will perk up, at least yours don`t seem to be standing on stalks like mine do.

Thanks Stroller. I did have one that stood up on a stalk about a foot high, and I cut it off this week when I could see that there were shoots lower down. I was tempted to put the stalk in the ground nice and deep but decided against it in the end and discarded it.

ah, so sad. Ginger Peach has died. Totally dead, nothing in the pot but a dead root ball. :( No sign of weevil though, so no idea why it died.

Oh dear, what a shame. Looking on the bright side tho - an excuse if one were needed to go shopping ?
