I see loads of potential here. How about a raised brickwork bed in front of the existing wall, ending roughly where the planks are in front of the wheelbarrow. You could then have low weepers cascading from the 'upper' wall into a lower tier which would be full of other stuff.

Interesting and difficult site, good luck and be careful of your back. I so enjoyed to ours so I hope you have as much as we did.

yes it is a difficult site but we are making progress. Yes new steps up the side made from non slip flags to the right of the top of the steps it is being terraced. Decking should be started next week. Severnside i am thinking of some kind of veg patch where you suggested x
