This picture is from a couple years ago. I go to Northern Michigan quite a bit and it always seems like there are some good storms while I'm there. The island in the background is Mackinaw Island and it's very pretty in Spring during the lilac festival.

Wow! This is quite a photo. What was the storm like? And what time of year was this? It's beautiful, but a bit terrifying...

The date on those pictures said April but it was before I set the correct date haha. It was definitely summer, I can't remember if it was June or July. I have been on Lake Michigan or Lake Superior twice when tornadoes touched down but I think this was mostly rain and thunder.
Katarina- yes I'll send you a copy if you like. remind me if you don't have it when you read this :). I'll re-post some pics of the lilacs on Mackinaw Island. I don't remember what all is going on for lilac festival besides A LOT of tourists!
