On our way to Exford we took our folks to see Philip Hobbs' training yard! But roll on the day we have a horse running in the king George! The best we got was an Oaks Trials winner and a 10th in The oaks!! We bred Kaatchit who won the Triumph Hurdle.......

He doesn't look very pleased.
Ears back, look out!

I wondered why he was so bad tempered and was reminded that all horses when super fit get like that. I wasn't even allowed to touch him before his big race!!

I've ridden and driven a few in my time and you get to read the signs. Only pat them these days thought LOL.

Me too Lindak! I like them the other side of the rails!! I only help out during foaling if I'm needed!

Lovely Lulu. When we had the smallholding My neighbour had a pony that had just foaled and the foal wouldn't feed. I went and helped get the foal sucking from the mares teats. I got stuck in there and managed to squeeze some milk to get it going then got the foal underneath as it was quite tall for the size of the mare. I didn't think about getting hurt, I just got on with trying to get it to feed.

The stud has 6 foals due this season starting around the 18th January, fingers crossed no problems!
