WOW! You really got some snow! It looks beautiful, but BRR! So far nothing here yet; today is one of the few days that the temp has dropped to 0*C, but we know it is soon coming....

Lovely! Reminds me of our too-short time near Banff 11 years ago.

Hmmmm, bit chilly. Wrap up warm.

I'd take where you are over Banff any day, Nariz! :-)!!
Hello Chris..keeping warm becomes a preoccupation as winter deepens!! How are things in Hungary these days?

just beautiful !

Hi Lori. All calm in Hungary, no severe weather yet. I'm in Ukraine at present and the weather is being kind to us here too. No snow at the moment. I guess it will come but at least the winter might be a little shorter than usual.

Lovely, I like how quiet it is when it snows. No snow here in New Jersey, USA. After last year, we are hoping Canada and the gulf stream doesn't hammer us again.

This illustrates the problems with making assumptions about the weather as we've had two days of above zero temps and the snow is completely gone. Unfortunately the weather people are telling us that the cold is returning and we are to have more snow starting tomorrow.
Glad that you are in a more temperate part of the world at present, Chris.... wishing you a blessed Christmas.
Thanks for your comment,Regina. Have a friend in Connecticut who tells me they have seen just about every type of inclement weather over the last year..including a tornado! Hope the rest of your winter is balmy and kind.

Good evening, I have found this photo just today and it is beautiful - the pine tree and atmosphere too :)

Hello Katarina! we have crested the hump of winter, I think! It's been a very mild winter so far and it looks like we may have an earlier than usual spring. The climate change juggernaut is rolling heavily along...it's a worry.

Worried about what, Lori? February has been always the most unpredictable month in general and in our family history. :) There is narrated a story in my family about marriage of the niece of my grandmother. She lived in a small town 20 kilometres from my grandmother´s estate. The spring was ticking, previous days were warm and sunny, all wedding guests had light shirts. But that day, on wedding day fell almost meter of snow, so old cars got stuck in the drift along the way (these were early years after the WWII). Grandfather gave up a trip and he had to ask farmer to take all wedding guests by horse coach back home. My mom was four years old and she cried all the evening, as she had so beautiful dress, lol.
