love this tree , I have one planted in every house I have been in
Tells me spring is here , and this shouts it out to everyone and just waht we all need coming out those dark miserable days of winter

Welcome to GoY. I'm sure you will enjoy your time spent on here & all the great photos & blogs. I planted a flowering cherry about 12 weeks ago at the beginning of our spring & enjoyed it in blossom for a couple of weeks before strong winds sadly carried them all away. But now the little tree has that beautiful glossy dark red foliage for us to enjoy.
