I'm not taking heart! This looks lovely! Mine look much bigger and more monolithic than this! I am doing a major rejig of the borders and returfing as well, to try to make them fit in with the garden....it will all look very different when it's finished...but hopefully it will be ok...eeeeeek!

lol....I'm exhausted....turf lifted and relaid, border reshaped, seed sown, arch removed (including concrete) and plants removed and replanted....all before lunch! Blog will follow soon...not long to wait now!

What a lovely garden - although I now have gravel garden seeing this makes me miss the grass - very nice indeed - love the arch - I made a frame with wooden poles and growing honeysuckle up it

Paul this was when the garden was sooo neat and tidy....sigh!! it looks much shorter now the hedge has been removed, the grass border is bursting at the seams, but thank goodness the shrubs have grown (left of picture and nearly hiding neighbours huge shed with asbestos roof!!) looking forward to getting out and doing some pruning and splitting, at the moment we are waging war on the bl.... badgers, who come in rip up the grass!!
