1 Nov, 2011

Love to see people look after their animals like this- there was a video on Youtube some idiots throwing a hamster about and poor thing was so scared and they were laughing - flagged it - but they keep it on anyway - yet the site removes any music that has copyright :(

1 Nov, 2011

Ah ! She's beautiful :o)))

1 Nov, 2011

Oh Paul how awful...I can't bear to watch things like that...those thugs should be thrown about themselves, see how they like it...I'm a firm believer in "What goes around comes around"

Thanks Hywel...love her to bits...

I believe that aswell Crissue, and it serves them right when it does come round ... Yesterday I saw a little boy hitting a dog on it's head and dragging it by the collar down some steps. I've reported it to the RSPCA !

1 Nov, 2011

Well done Hywel - cowards they really are

1 Nov, 2011

1 Nov, 2011

Good for you Hywel...-and in one so young, so where is he learning that from I wonder...it's a disgrace, when people are supposed to be animal lovers...:((((

She's so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet :)

25 Nov, 2011

Aww thanks Tommy, she loves OH to bits...sleeps with him; with her paw over him, like cuddles....

25 Nov, 2011

aww thanks...she loves OH and sleeps right snuggled against him, like cuddles...

25 Nov, 2011

Oh how lovely :) My Lucy likes to sleep with me on my pillow. But! Not any more.. Last week when I was deep asleep, she went into the next room and pooed on the floor. She's banned from sleeping with me since then. Too bad but can't be helped :-(

25 Nov, 2011

Oh I agree...we keep a litter tray, just in case of emergencies, they do happen from time to time...Two of ours will literally walk on you to wake you up, if they want to go out in the night...and the other two rattle the blinds in the front room...The two youngest are not allowed out at night, but the two eldest prefer nights out...and from Spring through till Autumn, they only come in to eat....baby Sweetie, would love to stay out all night, but she's not allowed....:))))

25 Nov, 2011

Lucy is not trained to poo/wee in the house, so I don't know if she can do her business in a litter tray. We have no cat flaps and no plan to install one, so she can't sleep with me unless I sneak her into the bed without my husband noticing it. Your two youngest are not allowed out at night? Is it dangerous?

25 Nov, 2011

No it's not dangerous...The elder two used to have acres and acres of fields and woods around, and our barns, so it wasn't that much of a problem for them to be out...When we moved, we said we wouldn't let the younger one Elkie out at night, because we're nearer to the road more and less fields...then when Sweetie came along, we followed the same practice....We have no Cat Flaps either, but all of ours have the opportunity to use a litter tray if they need to...and normally cats automatically will use one, the litter has something in it that draws them...and I wouldn't like to hang on all night if I needed to go lol....;)))

26 Nov, 2011

Oh I see. A road is a real menace to cats.. My parents have cats and quite a few of them had accidents and were killed by car... It's really really sad.. I'd love to have a litter in the house so that Lucy can sleep with me, but my husband won't like it, plus we can't afford it, even the small thing like that! We are so poor.. Not nice!! Speaking of money, we have to pay "taxe d'habitation" next month, maybe water bill too. We've just paid "taxes foncieres" this month. I hate bills.com lol !!!

26 Nov, 2011

Us too...You had me stumped for a bit there, I thought you were in Norfolk...
and of course the TV licence is included in the taxe d'habitation...and our Water bill is in...

You would think being just on the fringe of the Village, the animals would be safer, but some of the vehicles that use the the through road, do so at a speed that suits them....We have quite a lot of land being built on around and about now, which young Families with Children in the main are buying, so I think the Marie will have to look at the extra traffic, and the old roads, with no pavements, and no room to put them either...fair enough, the roads were only ever made for a small village traffic, Tractors and Horses etc....

27 Nov, 2011

Our base is Norfolk but we go to the house in France every month. We have no landline/internet there, so I do GoY only when we are in Norfolk.

I know what you mean.. A great majority of French people drive really fast even on the country roads. We are often overtaken by the maniac French (sometimes by Spanish lorries lol ). I really hope your elder cats will be okay outdoors in the night, because even grown-up cats can be victims..

27 Nov, 2011

I think they're sensible enough Tommy they don't like the sound of traffic at all...Our other house was off the beaten track, so they saw mainly tractors....the younger ones, have grown here nearer the Villge, and are prone to taking more risks...teenagers lol...

28 Nov, 2011

Glad to hear that your elder cats are clever enough not to go near to the roads nearby! Big kisses and hugs to your four beautiful cats from me xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

28 Nov, 2011

Thanks they'll love all that, they love a kiss and a cuddle...:)))
