Thanks!
Kasy - mine blooms in flushes three or four times a year.
Delonix - heat and shade makes this plant very happy!

Meanie:

It would be perfect under the shade structure then. The last two days have been around 100ºF/38ºC. here where I live. Yuck, it's too hot!

Meanie:

Well, you would've loved to have been in the inland valleys around San Diego County...many cities had temps to 104ºF/40ºC. the last 3 days. Luckily tonight (Oct. 14) it's much more comfortable. I'm so glad!!!

Alexandramou:

That's sounds so wonderful, an electrical storm with rain...I'll take that any day. :>)

Thank you Milky!

Sounds good to me Delonix!

That's crazy that you like that type of heat! I hate it!

16 Oct, 2011

I think that the heat is ok without excessive humidity - that's when it's unpleasant. My conservatory can hit 40c easily.

Meanie:

Yes, when it's humid and hot, it's definitely more uncomfortable. This time of year the heat is pretty dry to very dry. However, with that being said, when inside the house is more than 90ºF/32ºC all night long, it's pretty difficult to sleep (it's like sleeping in an oven).

That's pretty, Meanie :o)

Thank you Terratoonie!

I have no idea what is going on here - that is the third time that one of my comments has been credited to Iciar!
