Pieris cuttings

Found broken pieris branch at work, took it home, did some cuttings - they were doing fine until hurricane Katarina came and blew the propagator on lend over:( Now have to ask a friend to keep them in his polytunel over winter. guess it will be in exchange for one of them, lol.
Which one would he choose?

Iv'e never tried them from cuttings,Kasy..only layering..I hope they will be ok..and I think he would choose the one on the right..:o)
