Mosaic tiles all glued-tomorrow grouting!

It was really hard because the tiles were different depths and the stone wasn't flat I am hoping the grouting will make it look better. OH keeps walking passed not very impressed but it is my first attempt!

You Go Girl!!!!! Because of the different depths, grouting will be a bit of a pain, sorry to say, but better to know I think. It's going to look amazing when grouted!!!

That's cool! I have one with a mermaid being pulled along underwater by a turtle. I haven't ever done mosaic work myself, but a nursing colleague of mine does them, & I asked her to do this one for me my own design. I have no idea where I am going to put it, but I daresay I will find the perfect spot once the garden is all dug out & planted up. Are you going to put yours out in the garden or is it for a patio area or even indoors?

i think everything you try you learn something, thats what makes in interesting in one way; was it easy to get all the glass etc you needed?

Hi Sticki got a lot of damaged white and cream tiles for free then we went to a tile shop that was being refurbed and being taken over by Tile Giant and they had lots of tiles for 5p and 10p so I spent around £22 and got loads the poor assistant said he had never had to do such a long bill for so little money lol! but then I have ordered some coloured glass tiles from a site called Mosaic Heaven as I didn't have all the colours I needed but they were not to expensive either.
