Potted Grouping

Potted Grouping

Along the east side of the table I placed some potted shade lovers, stowed from sudden winds. This is the new second ligularia stenocephala, a red cordyline, and the bicolor mini petunias with bacopa on the table.

Here are many, but the stenocephala has these big jagged edge leaves and tall flowering spikes.

So that's the one to look for!?

Yes, if you want this one. The other varieties have different leaf shapes and different flowers. Ligularia przewalskii has toothed leaves and similar flower spikes, but seems smaller. Others have more like daisy type flowers, like 'desdemonda', 'othello' and 'britt marie crawford', those have very interesting round foliage.
