Wish I knew, M. When I ordered dahlias from Thompson and Morgan this year, they were in a group called 'Raspberry Ripple' collection. When they arrived they had individual names on stickers on the plastic bags they came in, but unfortunately I don't know what I did with them.

Thanks, C. Just googled dahlia 'Bodacious' and there is a striking resemblance, and so that is the name I'll now call her! It does suit her!

You're welcome Constance....I love Dahlias...just wish I had the room for all that I love...:)))

There is a Gentleman in the UK, that grows several varieties of Dahlias in his front Garden, which he opens to the public every year, and donates the money he gets to charity...He has bred his own, and named them after his Children and Grandchildren...I'll try and find the article...When you see his garden its awash with colour, and all Dahlias....:)))

Oh, that sounds lovely, C., and what a nice idea to name the flowers you have grown after your family. Looking forward to seeing the article. Thanks... : o )))

Wow - now that is what you call being keen on dahlias!!
Maybe growing them on that scale keeps you young-looking, as he is great for his age! All of that digging up, storing, moving to greenhouse and finally planting again must keep him fit and youthful looking! Thanks for that, Crissue.
