Did everything go alright this morning...I had to go off, I've been a bit iffy the last 24hrs...and ended up with an upset tum....you have mail; when you have time to read it...

Have to go to the airport tomorrow with Kitkat's partner...she's staying for a few days longer...then I'll have nothing but time on my hands!!!

I've just been outside and tried the pipe from the pond pump resting on a solid rock...and it works good..it's circulating the water, but it looks still under their little bridge, thinking I may be able to have a small lily that end...as they don't like the movement so much...Will probably buy a bigger pump too....

Hope you have more luck with your water lily than I've had this year...between the heat and OH 'watering' it when he tops up the pond... :((

Well our pond is wee compared to yours, so we do it with the watering can, and so as it don't churn up the bottom, we trickle it over the rocks...The pipe is still running good over the rock...I've a good mind to enlarge the Pond this year....and this morning, they've got a nasty habit of squashing up the plastic bottles before they chuck them in the yellow box, right at the side of the wire fence, very noisy, so I went oi oi and a louder oi when the bottles hit the box...do that every morning they'll soon get the message, it constitutes irritating noise....:o)))

Was lovely here, first thing...but we're on 'yellow alert' for heat for the next few days - 38°C +...!!...not looking forward to the journey to Bordeaux... :(

Are you...haven't heard anything yet...it's not unusual this end to reach 38°C + we have all the blinds closed, Ceiling Fans running...don't bother to close the shutters, don't like being in the dark....Take plenty of cold water with you, have you got a cooler you plug it in you cig lighter in the car, keeps your drinks cold...and you cool...

You're on green...the Midi and parts of the Dordogne are on orange...the French news is saying that we're expecting an exceptional heatwave...

Am going prepared, especially since Kitkat refuses to stay here and we'll have Ruaridh on board!
