August Profusion 2011

The Blue plant I was told is a perenial Clematis? I would be pleased if someone can name it. Red rose is a Ena Harkness Climber, Apricot rose Elizabeth of Glams, Eupatorium Purpureum 6ft.(Agrimony), Mile a minute white in distance.

The clematis is called 'Tubulosa' Telme8, I have it too, although yours looks much better than mine this year.
Pretty border :-)

Thanks Simbad very pleased to know the identity of Clematis Tubulosa. I could not find it in My Gardeners A to Z under Clematis so thought I had been miss informed. I was given a piece a few years back and it has done well. Do you divide it like most perenials, as it is getting a bit large now! Like us you built your new house with large plot but we have been here now 17 years so spend a great deal of time cutting back. For the first few years we were patiently waiting for everything to mature. We retired 20 years ago, and now that we are slowing down with age, and eating less! all my fruit trees are producing in abundance and life seems to be all jam and chutney making at this time of year. That's life!! Thanks again.
