It is a very sad day for me & Archie he is just over a month away from being 5 but somehow he jumped or fell in our garden & yesterday we dashed to the vets hoping pain killers would do the trick like before he had 2 injections that should have reduced swelling another option was mentioned having extensive x rays an operation & possibly no significant change despite the cost of £2K plus, overnight he grew worse constantly crying he cannot walk even with a sling the vet suggested he will not eat or go the toilet, its all such a shock - being a born worrier I try & foresea most problems in life but never saw this, he was a pain at times could be nasty & nearly impossible to take a walk but he was 100% my boy & I cannot explain the bond or the sadness the void life will be so empty, Im sorry but little Archie was my image here & I never thought he would last such a short while, on his behalf Goodbye my gardening freinds, please pray for him these next few days God bless xx

As a life long dog and cat owner, you don't have to explain the bond or the incredible pain and sense of loss to me. My sympathies :(

Thanks for your kind thoughts we returned to the vet today & he had lost use of his back legs bladder & bowels, the kindest thing was put him to sleep, I buried him with some favourite toys ones he was so happily playing with a few days ago it was an awfull shock for some reason he was really my boy my wife recently said Oh he really loves you how he looks @ you & I really felt it, things change so quick & life can be so cruel but @ least my boy isn't suffering anymore, may he rest in peace.

My thoughts are with you. I lost one of my dogs in a garden accident. So sad. :(
