My small Butterfly palm is growing well this year...the last couple of years it's barely grown at all. It was kept way too dry because of the 7 year long drought which finally broke this last rainy season. Photo taken Aug. 8, 2011.

The reality is...this palm was only slightly smaller than its current height, back in 2008 (I just looked at the old photo). It should be 5 to 7 times taller by now. Oh well, I can't have everything. lol!
