Looks a peaceful area :o)

The whole place is laid out wth thought and care, and there are several smaller areas that have "meditation area" signs asking people to respect anyone else who's there; this is the main area and even it's not overly unpeaceful.

Of course, some times are busier than others, but the gardens are so large and so well l aid out that I never got the feeling of being crowded

The last time I went was Ostara 2010; there were a hundred or so people around for the ritual, so it wasn't quite as deserted as this picture - but even so, when we disperesed there still wasn't an obvious "crowded" feel.

Good to know of places where you can "escape" for a while ...

nods, but it gets a tad busier at pagan "high seasons"! End of March isn't all that "high", though it's one of the four main festivals, the spring equinox; they get a whole lot busier around midsummer. lol I couldn't get a room anywhere in Glastonbury for the week before! at least, at a price that I was willing to pay

thought just come to me as I was going to press "add comment" - can we have a "contemplation/meditation/chill-out" section? though with a shorter name!
