Hello, Judywolf and Amy. Exactly - it is Snowy Owl. Arrives each winter from Siberia to Central Europe. This one was wounded and stayed in a hospital for birds. I would like to train birds. I like it very much. But unfortunately, first I should make exams from hunting and I do not want to kill animals. So just a pose.

Beautiful Owl...Hi Katarina, nice to meet you. My Husband rescued a babyTawny Owl, a few years ago, and we raised him, and eventually showed him his own world, off he went, but for a long time would return to an old tree near our Barn at night, it was good to know he was surviving out there alone...a wonderful memory...

Nice story. Yes, animals have spirit, whatever we thought they work just in limits of instincts. I once rescued a cat which had broken limb and somebody threw her on carbage. She stayed with us. Although limping, she is very intelligent, comes each morning to my doors and calls me out to the garden. She shows her joy by laying down in front of me and turning around.

awww, Hedwig!

my absolutely favourite is the BarnOwl: the heart-shaped face, the speckled colour-changing plumage, the ... the *spirit* of owl

for me, the Barn Owl is THE epitome of "owl" - never seen one in real life, sigh, but I wouldn't mind living somewhere where I could play host to a family ... mind you, that'd be true of any owl spcies, but the Barn Owl ... sigh ...

What a beautiful bird & a beautiful lady too.
I love all this chit-chat, but when do we get our gardening done?!!
Your garden is so lovely & colourful Katerina......and I love your cats.
We have just adopted one from the Blue Cross animal re-homing centre near us. She is called Flossie & is 8 years old. We have only had her for 4 weeks, so she has only been allowed to go out in the garden on her own in the past few days. She seems to be settling in o.k. though. I must add some more photos. I really like to see everyones' photos, so interesting.

Thank you. This was three years ago and I changed :))))
Good luck to your cat in her new home.
