'Webless'

This is the one-footed duck that accompanied Mother Duck (rather optimistically, I think!) during her recent nesting in my garden. He still comes each morning for breakfast :)

Aw it's so good that he has you to take care of his breakfast Gee , I bet he looks forward to that .. in today's paper they had a pic. of a tortoise when he was hibernating he had one of his legs bitten off by a rat , they have fitted him with a little wheel he has taken to it very well and whizzes around on it ..

There are quite a lot of little ducklings on the pond now, Yorkshire, so I don't know which are mine! I just hope the continue to do well.

I've heard of that being done for a tortoise before, Amy, I think they did it for one at Longleat. It always amazes me how animals survive and adapt with such traumas.

we had a three legged fox here for years, my goodness could he jump fences, he used to stand on our lawn and watch me through the window, then last year the RSPCA came looking for him, they said he had been hit by a car, we have never seen him since,

That is so sad, Yorkshire, poor thing. My Hoppity blackbird has been missing for a while - I just hope she is sitting on a nest somewhere. The male blackbird is certainly taking food back to a nest.

I hope she is sitting on the nest Gee, sounds like it if the male is taking food in,
