We have four traditional WBC hives but this is a top bar hive you do not get as much honey from it but it is a more natural way of keeping bees.

These bees i collected as a swarm last May,the local authority has my number and will call me if a swarm turns up in my area so i can go and collect it.

Our bees are still dying, from things like the varroa mite, nosema, and foulbrood the list goes on. But as usual man is the main culprit.
