This is the one of the un-named clematis that my daughter bought for me last year and it's flowering really well again.

Might be to do with the postition or prunning do you feed them you can feed them in the spring with blood fish and bone.

Does this photo show true colour as you say its un named I find they grow a lot taller when planted in the shade as then they grow up to reach the sun, also they like their foot to be kept cool I put roof slate over all mine that are planted on the south facing.
