That's a late bloomer! Are they evergreen, like most that I have met? Or are those yellow leaves a sign of the future?

It's evergreen and become a very large plant; to 6ft/2m or sometimes much taller. Large plants can bloom almost anytime of the year.

I just love the flowers on these, but these plants certainly need some room.

I love the very sweetly fragrant flowers too! I have this one and the green form also. I've seen them as tall as 12ft/3.7m here and taller in the tropics. The large plants usually have the most flower spikes.
