Nice to see large a specimen of Aloe.Kew has a large collection of them but lack of space means the plants can't be grown to large.

That is enormous......and very lethal by the look of it.

It's not so bad. This specimen is considered small...if you want see large ones...do a search and you'll see the giant ones that grow here. This Aloe can grow taller than 50ft/16m.

There are some lovely Aloes in bloom at the moment at Kew; A. dawei, A. vagillans, A. evensii, dumetorum and A. schelpei to name a few.

It's usually quite a sight when there's many species blooming at the same time together. We grow many hundreds of species/varieties here in CA. Many have been blooming for the last month or so.
