We had a tour around Dublin several years ago. It's a lovely city and we saw a statue of Molly Malone. Went into the small church near the coast where (was it Christopher Columbus) set sail. Please tell me if I'm wrong, I have been known to be wrong quite a bit. LOL Didn't have time to see the book of Kells. Saw lots of lovely Georgian houses as well.

Johnjoe these pics are lovely..must go back to Eire, went in 2003 and felt right at home, got a lot of irish in my pedigree too! Mothers half from Cork, fathers half from way up on northern coast..drat begins with C..my memory failing...small village anyway. Anyway whatever! Its a place I shall be going back to, the people are great and the horses are fabulous!

Its your good lady who would be saying ha ha! if she could see me at present, swaythed in baggy cardi and shawls..as befits a senior member who's feeling the cold!

My family said that there were Irish gypsies in our family a long way back. Perhaps that is why I have always got on with animals, especially horses, loved the gardening and wildlife and the countryside.

Oh me too Lindak, Im passionate about horses. Dont ride these days, and the horses gone from the back paddock, replaced by allotments...not even a dog now...but! we have adopted next door's guinea pig lol!
