NOVEMBER 2010 - PINK/WHITE AND RED/WHITE AMARYLLIS

I was looking today Lin at these, I must go back and buy one for my OH.

Hope you manage to get one Yorkshire. I am so pleased with the red one I bought last week that when I saw these new ones in different colours, I had to get some more. Hope these are as good as the one I've already got.

Hi Yorkshire, Did you manage to get an Ameryllis for your OH. I managed to get a white one . They still had them on Sunday at our branch of Lidl. Hope you were lucky!

No Lin I didn't get one sold out, I begrudge paying what the local florist asks, will keep looking, surely I will drop on one,

Oh. that's a shame Yorkshire, if I hear any going in Aldi, Wilkinsons etc. I'll let you know.Are they asking extortionate prices in your florist? I've never looked at them in the florist.

Yorkshire, just been asking my OH to look out for any when he is out getting the bargains (lol) and he has just said that Asda had them last week for £3 each. You could always phone your local branch and ask if they have got any left. If they sell well they sometimes get a second batch in.Thought I would just let you know.

I think they were £6,99 in the florists, I buy lillies evert two weeks from Aldi or Lidl they cost me £3.49, same size bunch is £13. in the florist, I don't mind paying for anything but I refuse to be ripped off,
