These all look like amanita muscaria. Is this in your garden? The clump on the next pic is a really large and healthy colony. My understanding is that the white crust on top is arsenic, its a very dangerous mushroom. I don't see the yellow much, they are lovely examples.

Yes...I've just been doing some looking and they are indeed dangerous. The mycelium must have been huge... they were spread over an area of about an acre.

These are relatively common here, Amanita is my street name. Anywhere they like, they spread over it. Classic toadstools I think. Like the caterpillar is smoking his pipe there. :-)
