Hardy Fuchsia

Hardy Fuchsia

These cuttings were taken about 6 weeks ago in early to mid august and have already fully rooted and almost doubled in size. I will overwinter them indoors as although they're a hardy variety they are not very hardy when small. I'll plant them outside in late spring next year and they will stay outdoors thereafter. This variety grows to about 3 feet wide and tall , the flowers are quite large for a hardy variety ( about 2.5 cm wide and 3cm long)

It flowers profusely from June to November and never needs dead heading... the perfect plant!

I got the original plant as a cutting from one of my customers some years ago so unfortunately I don't know its name.

This looks similar to one I've got Anchorman. I'll see if I can find out the name. Perhaps you could post another pic when one of the blooms fully open.
