Well I took a cutting some weeks ago, and it hasnt died yet !

is this different to the cosmos I have grown, I did'nt know you could take cuttings,

Yes its not the annual one, they have had this one for about three years now. I dont know if you can grow it from cuttings but I thought I would try. You never know your luck. Might look to see if there are any seeds from the dead ones.

I was foolish enough not to bring mine in for Winter, 2 years ago, naturally it died in the pot !

Been talking to neighbour about it today, he covers well with fleece for the winter and it has been ok so far.

I'm sure it will survive. I think I need to replace mine, and it really does smell of chocolate doesn't it ? : o ))))))
