RIP my lovely darling frog 240710

RIP my lovely darling frog 240710

One day I found my darling frog, or better what was left of him, on the driveway near the pond. He was so tame he almost ate out of my hand (I fed him lots of woodlice) and did not move when I or the grandchildren came very close. He rattled all day long, which we, as well as both our neighbours loved!
Then I realised I hadn't heard any rattle anymore for two days already. I was really really sad. And still am.
Yesterday we rescued another big frog from the greenhouse. Alas for this poor thing, the day after we found his remains too. I lóve cats, but they are rather testing me a bit lately.

This happened to our one a few years ago, I am afraid I am not a cat lover because they killed our budgie and our frog :0(

Yes, Cat came into the house and removed our very happy, flying free, budgie, I was upstairs and heard squeals and the cat ran next door with 'Bennie', it was too late then ! It was terrible, you can imagine how upset the children were.

Ohh, naughty neighbour of mine (it is possible that it was hér cat who ate the frog, both frogs maybe...). I'm thinking of making hot Thai cat paw's soup with it..., in a nice curry ;-)
