Lots of flowers on the bank at this time of year.

You can't quite see it from this angle, but this side of the clump of Lythrum, rambling through the Juniper, is Clematis 'Gypsy Queen' - still in flower! :-)))

Thanks - and Yorkshire, I 'promise' you that the answer's 'NO'. It's flowing water, so they don't like it. So you're safe by the stream. :-))))
You will often find a muddy Labrador in there, though! LOL.

Thanks, both. The water flow is no more than a trickle at the moment, but as soon as it rains on the hills, we get the run-off down here...so it'll be back to normal.

That's good - he's not a bit scary - well, not unless he shakes himself when you're all dressed up, anyway. LOL.

Thank you...I wish the yellow Crocosmias had flowered this year - but I'll have to be patient. I planted them by the new Ligularias. Patience, patience....

I do hope so! I planted a whole lot of Crocosmia 'Emily McKenzie' in the hot border, too - and not a single flower. :-((( Have a look at her - she's such a beauty.

This was taken before I had to take out the prostrate Juniper, after which I replanted the area. You should be able to find a blog I wrote on what happened!
