That's Cerastium tomentosum, or 'Snow in Summer'. Very pretty, I agree - but can be a bit of a thug. ;-/

Thanks much Spritzhenry, that's a bit of a mouthful & yes it gets quite vigorous too.. :-) now we know, Ey Yorkshire.. ;-)
