Stipa tenuissima (Pony Tails) (Stipa tenuissima (Feather grass))

Not bad for 80p in a Homebase sale last year ... so I bought 2. I want about 30 ... so I shall have a go at growing from seed a bit later in the year.

I've just planted 2 of these in a South facing gravelled area so here's hoping they thrive ! Yours look healthy.

They seem very happy ... the are in the most exposed area of the garden, hopefully they'll make it through the winter as I over wintered them planting them out in March ... sadly though I forgot to cut them back before the new growth in the spring ... I'll remember next time.

Hope yours do well too.

What else?

See who else is growing Stipa tenuissima (Feather grass).

See who else has plants in genus Stipa.
