Sugar Cane Palm has become very popular in California in the last 15 years. This Madagascan native grows very well in semi-shade and full sun in many areas of CA. It also grows very quickly.

I'd love to buy a couple of the trunks from this posted palm. They have many trunks...and they separate easily also.
He has many of these palms throughout the garden.
