That's absolutely beautiful. You have taken a really good photo. I don't know how but the dark back ground and the way the rose is lit up is quite special. I would definately get that printed onto something. You can get all these specially effects with digital photos now. Well done Milky.

Great close up of a smashing rose......

this is my favourite rose. mine is a cutting from my mum's garden and hers was planted in 1936/37. Sadly my brother 'over pruned' it a couple of years ago in and it died. thankfully mine is doing well. its also my avatar picture
David Austin re-launched it as 'improved' but a friend has it and it doesn't quite smell the same.
