Yet another native southeastern US plant that just doesn't work here where it's supposed to grow, along with Virginia bluebells and black cohosh. I suspect our summers are just too hot. It's 94 degrees today.

Is this Aruncus? I've tried to grow this and can't. I think it's too warm here.
