Some common Camphor trees growing in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. They're a very hardy and commonly grown tree here in CA...they 're probably very commonly grown in England too. Photo taken June 3, 2010.

Homebird:
When the leaves are crushed they smell like camphor. This is the tree which camphor is extracted from.
