My Goldfinger bananas are just starting to develop. This is a commercial variety of banana...which have very large and extremely delicious tasting banana. Photo taken May 29, 2010.

There's nothing better than a home-grown banana. I have several varieties.
I'm hoping my 'Ice Cream" will flower and produce bananas this year...as it was planted in the ground last year. It stands around 12 feet / 3.7 meters tall now.
