Hey! That looks just like my place!! An Erythrina, and a Strelitzia.
Come to think of it, my Erythrina is maybe a wee bit smaller and I can't recall my Strelitzia ever flowering!!!!

Thanks for the photo. I have a friend who thinks that the Erythrina would make a great Bonsai project.

My observation is that Erythrina species grow much faster and bloom more prolifically when planted in the you can tell by this fairly small tree.

I'll post a pic of the larger one around the corner from my it's full of buds now, even though about 5 - 10 feet was cut off the top. It would have been blooming months ago, if it hadn't been hacked back drastically.
