Thank you Yorkshire and Simbad! Irises are very strong, I think, because they survived even after being trod by Mr Postman's car during winter. He can't do it now though :) (PS. Our post box is on the right among the ivies) ~~~ :)

Lol, same thing happened to some of mine, we have a really steep drive and hubby was trying to drive down it in the snow, car went into a skid so it was either the garage doors or flowerbed, so yes straight into the middle of the iris's, but they've survived too, do you think they attract cars,lol.

Irises attract cars! Never thought about that. LOL~~~ :)
