That's a beauty.

It grew like a weed then died back a bit in winter I'd nurse it a bit then once it heated up again I'd feed it & off it grew again.

They do exactly the same for me. They lost their looks at certain times during the year, but with a good haircut and some feeding they come back well ... with one exception, which unfortunately didn't come through and of course it was the most spectacular looking thing!!!

Yes it seems the ones u'd want to last don't and the ones u are ho hum about last and last.
They seem to like a sheltered spot away from bugs and wind.
