I have cut back lower branches up to about 8 ft
.To cut the whole thing down would probably demolish most of the garden,and its not a leylandii.

its a large flower and only just holds its head up its drawn by a conifer that is to large and blocking light,there seemed plenty of room when I planted it but that was 20+ years ago.its an on going problem now as some trees and shrub were planted 30 years ago
