This little one grows from a tuber that dislikes winter wet but I seem to have planted it where it is happy as it has come through two winters so far

Never seen it - never heard of it - like it lots! If it dislikes winter wet I won't try to grow it here.

New to me too. Would like it :o)
Do you get more wet in Bucks Wagger? I'd still give it a go, plenty of grit maybe plant on some crocks.

Very heavy clay here, Pam - dug in tons of grit over the years and continually adding compost. One day I'll get somebody to make me a big raised bed for my 'well-drained' wants, lol.
