They look so healthy:-)

I watered them every day which kept me healthier than the toms bcs they were both upstairs and downstairs in the basement. When a little mold appeared I had a fan ready and it worked. I've spent hours on-line researching how to do it and to think it just happens naturally in nature. I planted tons of marigolds around the garden which kept the tomato worms away. Marigold seeds are easy to harvest and I'm armed with literally thousands of them for this summer. I've also recently discovered nasturtium and bought some seeds. I found the White House garden plan on-line the other day. Maybe it was on this site, I'm not sure. I see that I could spend hours navigating this site. The First Lady has marigold, nasturtium and zinnia throughout her garden.

It's wonderful that she can find the time, it probably helps to keep her sane in the mad world of politics:-) With all your hard work, you deserve to have a great crop:-)

Hi bornagain I don't think Michelle Obama digs in her garden herself. There were pics of three or four big men planting it. She probably oversees it and tells them what to do. But it's still a good thing. She had kids from the neighborhood coming over to learn from it
