Austrian log cabin

It was September 18th 2005 in Kaprun Austria on the Kitzsteinhorn.It was raining at the bottom of the mountain. I loved that day we cycled to the cable car about 3 miles then went up to the snow and made a snowman.going back to Austria this summer. I was reminded of this by Greenthumbs photo of home in Alaska.

It's very similar to mine, minus my loft. Even the classic green shutters. :-) Probably similar climate to mine up in those slopes as well. Some mountains get even less summer than I do. Lovely shot, and sounds like a lovely trip up the slope.
