Look at that little face ! he's lovely Heron .........

Disarming isn't it, he has a wonderful temperament. Intelligent, gentle...even when eating, understands English, much more than I understand doggy talk. He's also versatile in that he's brilliant in company, a quiet lapdog when it's quiet, extremely active when out walking, can climb like a mountain goat, I could go on lol. The only downside is that because he never has his coat cut, he doesn't like hot weather.

Aww - he's lovely. My brother had a Lhasa and a friend has one - and you're right, they are very intelligent and gentle and good in company. Does he have a name? ;-)

Thanks - I did discover his name when looking through your pictures :-) I was wondering why you don't give him a hair cut during the hot weather?

Sid he does get hot in Summer, but he soon lets us know by sitting down usually in the shade. As he's blonde his coat doesn't absorb heat so much and his top coat is thin hair rather than fur. If the weather's hot obviously we keep him out of the sun but oddly he sometimes he will sit in the conservatory in full sun.

Oh I see. My neighbour came home today with a Samoyd (sp?) puppy...I always think they look hot in the summer with those thick coats on..huskies too. ..

I've never seen a puppy, please can we see a pic?

Sorry, I havent got any pics of the puppy - I dont realy know the neighbours that well. They've only been here a few months and in that time theyve had 2 cats and 2 rabbits, one cat has gone missing and one of the rabbits had died.....I don't think they look after their animals too well, so I'm a bit worried about the puppy...........not sure what happens to it when they're at work.....???
