Wow! I just can't comprehend snow...when it's been in the 80's F. for most of inland San Diego for the last 4 days.

Thanks for reminding us how lovely and warm you are while we are shivering longingly looking at our gardens wishing to out there, tendering to our tender's
mowing lawns ,deadheading roses .....AAArrr the good old day's of last summer.
Actually did we a summer last year ?..UUUmmm can't remember . no don't think so .

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging. I know it must be pretty horrible not to be able to garden when it's cold and snowy outside. I sincerely hope you have a very warm spring, summer and fall ahead! : > )

We're just having the typical winter heat wave. It's pretty common...we've had temps in late Feb to almost 100 degrees F. / 38 degrees C. in the past. However, January 2009 had the longest recorded heat wave for many Southern California cities.

It's just jealousy you see..
But i have to say keep posting the photo's because they certainly warm me up on a winters day...:o)))

It's great to hear it makes you warm up on a winters day! I think winter has the more interesting flowering trees /shrub/plants than in summer...or maybe it just seems that way. However, it is true that many of the subtropical trees and shrubs do bloom in winter.
