Milky how is your bottle brush doing? ours was cut down by the bad weather last year, it had just started to grow again ( was two foot tall) it looks dreadful now, cannot believe it, has been beautiful in the past (it was at least 7 years old) not sure what to do about growing it again in the garden if we are to have winters like this again....

maybe fleece it dotty to help protect from bad weather

I was about to say thr same as Sanbaz Dotty....Other than putting it in the most sheltered spot you can find in thr garden. Mine are now far too big for thr pots, so I am going to have to find thrm a spot somewhere Lol

Milky I do it all the time...lol there are several bottle brush plants and some more tender than others, I have a hardy one which is ok at the moment (another hard frost again last night) and in October bought a new cream flowered one, which is waiting to go in the garden!! but now, where, oh where?
San do you think fleece would do the trick then? it is so upsetting to lose a large specimen tree/shrub :*((((

i think it would help dotty and pack something around the roots to, maybe mulch, it would prtect from icy winds to, worth a try

Will try that this coming winter and see how things go....;~0
