Sonic is about 6 years old not sure if its male or female, but I think the latter as she prefers MEN! She was capture bred in this country, my husband saw her in a pet shop window, and was captivated..............They originate from African Desert where it is hot in the day and cold in the eve. We feed her locust and large mealworms, she loves them. Our Sonic is not very friendly, although we handle her and let her out to run, she is nocturnal and makes some very funny sounds. The kids cuddle her like a baby, like in this shot, she curls up and goes to sleep, but she also has a habit of spikeing you with her sharp spikes.
