It's beginning to thaw here as well tonight ..........

It's lovely. I love it when they are only partially frozen. The one up from us is frozen completely solid.....pretty in its own right but I like to see the moving water.

WOW thats sure is cold but looks so lovely brill photo.

Wish ours would thaw Janey - still sitting with 3 - 4 " & never seen a snow plough - the council just doesn't bother the back roads. More snow forecast this week too !

Yes there is Cg.......were down to scrapings of ice on the grass...but more snow this coming weekend...:o( Hope you're managing okay up there, are you able to use your car okay? I bet your views are stunning though... and a great Hogmany for Thurs night...:o)

Yes me too San.....I just feel like a trip to the Lake District to see the winter trees and waterfalls...:o)

Roads near us are a sheet of ice Janey - so careful driving required. We got 1st snow on 20th Dec & it's still lying although ice is sitting solid - still no gritters despite phoning them. Can get out but it's very, very slippy & is snowing again just now. Best wishes for Hogmany.
